The program
Built for the people who work in the park
The Tech Cats program is designed to create a sense of community, collaboration, and camaraderie among the employees of UA Tech Park. Through organized events and activities, the Tech Cats provide an opportunity to build relationships with fellow employees, explore the resources of the park, and develop skills that help employees succeed in their jobs.
Events include Lunch and Learns, team building activities, workshops, and other professional development opportunities. Tech Cats also serves as an information hub for the park, providing employees with resources, tools, and tips to help them make the most of what the park offers. Through the program, employees can find out about upcoming events, job opportunities, and other helpful information.
The program is an important part of the park’s community and culture. It creates a sense of belonging and connectedness among employees, and it brings people together around a stronger sense of unity and collaboration.

Community
A bridge between the park and Tucson
Tech Cats host a range of events, from educational seminars and technology workshops to social gatherings and networking events. These events give park employees a place to learn, connect, and collaborate, and they bring local businesses, organizations, and schools into the same room.
The program also brings attention to the companies located at UA Tech Park. That visibility helps attract new businesses, create jobs, and spur economic growth across the region.
Monthly meetups share best practices for a healthy workplace culture. The program also creates and facilitates programs that use the strengths of the park’s companies for the benefit of the community at large, including resources for local nonprofits and events that bring the tech community together.
Tech Cats strive to bridge the gap between UA Tech Park and the wider Tucson community. They collaborate with local businesses and organizations, host public events and open houses, and give the public a way to meet the park and understand its purpose.
